Learning is a complex and dynamic phenomenon. St.Vincent Pallotti College believes that holistic development of a student depends upon the hard work of student, parent, and teacher. These three stakeholders integrated effort give the best learning outcomes.

 

Parent teacher meeting(PTM)  covers the distance among these three pillars of a student’s life. PTM opens a communication channel where a parent is a partner. Active participation of a parent brings a massive change in students academic performance.

 PTM was conducted by Department of Commerce on 17th November 2021, Friday for the students of B.com I, B.Com II and B.Com III. Students came with their parents/ guardians and met the respective class in-charges. Principal and Vice Principal of the college and HOD of Deptartment of Commerce addressed all the parents and had an interactive session with them. Principal Sir emphasized on the norms of University and the obligation in adherence to the institution. And the HOD , Mr. Vaibhav Shrivastava has discussed about the University’s exam pattern and suggested important strategies for better results.

The progress report of the class test was shown to the parents. Feedback forms were given to the parents and their suggestions/opinions were noted. Teachers discussed and shared the overall personality of a students with the parents i.e. his/her behaviour, learning styles, relation to self and society, etc.The event witnessed enthusiasm from the parents to greater extent. It was a fruitful interaction between the teachers and the parents, aimed for the development of their children.
